The crowd at Thursday's league test between the St. John's Prep Johnnies (Collegeville, MN) and the visiting Melrose Dutchmen (Melrose, MN), saw St. John's Prep's soccer squad knock off Melrose by a margin of 3-0.

The Johnnies now sport a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Rocori for a Class A Section 8 test on Monday, September 18. St. John's Prep will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Fergus Falls (Fergus Falls, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Melrose drops to 1-5 on the season. The Dutchmen host Pelican Rapids (Pelican Rapids, MN) to meet the Vikings in a non-league test on Saturday, September 16. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 2-2.
