North Carolina High School Soccer - South Mecklenburg knocks off Berry

South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Berry Cardinal (Charlotte, NC), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Sabres face the Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 19. South Mecklenburg will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Pumas enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Myers Park (Charlotte, NC).

The Cardinal now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ardrey Kell for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 19. Berry will face a Knights team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Weddington (Matthews, NC). The Knights record now stands at 6-2.
