Next, the Pirates face the Clinton Dark Horses (Clinton, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 15. Topsail will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record. The Dark Horses enter the contest with a 7-0 record after their 7-1 non-league win over North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC).
The Trojans now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host North Brunswick for a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 19. West Brunswick will face a Scorpions team coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Hoggard (Wilmington, NC). The Scorpions record now stands at 2-4.
