Ruidoso Warriors (Ruidoso, NM) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Artesia Bulldogs (Artesia, NM), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Warriors confront the New Mexico Military Institute Colts (Roswell, NM) in a challenge, on Saturday, September 30. Ruidoso will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record.
The Bulldogs now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Clovis for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 16. Artesia will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Centennial (Las Cruces, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-2.
