In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Mooresville Blue Devils volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the A.L. Brown Wonders.

The Blue Devils (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 10-1 record. In their last battle, Lake Norman nudged South Iredell (Statesville, NC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Wonders clash with the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 18. A.L. Brown will attempt to advance on its 5-6 season record. The Comets come into the battle with a 4-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC).
