The Burns Bulldogs volleyball team (Lawndale, NC), was dropped 2-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC)

The Warriors (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC). The Rams enter the non-league challenge with a 12-2 record. In their last challenge, Highland Tech defeated Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 18. Burns will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Rebels enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC).
