In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Eastern Alamance Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Southern Alamance Patriots.
The Eagles (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Orange (Hillsborough, NC). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Orange lost by Roxboro Community (Roxboro, NC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Patriots clash with the Western Alamance Warriors (Elon, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 19. Southern Alamance will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Warriors come into the battle with a 6-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Person (Roxboro, NC).
