The Havelock Rams volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs to 1 in the Rams non-league victory on Thursday.

The Rams now have a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host J.H. Rose for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 19. Havelock will meet a Rampants team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Perquimans (Hertford, NC). The Rampants record now stands at 10-1.

The Monarchs (0-7) will now prepare for their game against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC). The Cardinals enter the non-league game with a 9-2 record. In their last game, Jacksonville nipped South Central (Winterville, NC), 2-1, in a non-league game.
