The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Lawrence Academy Warriors (Merry Hill, NC) and the host Pungo Christian Academy Raiders (Belhaven, NC), saw Lawrence Academy's volleyball squad beat Pungo Christian Academy by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Lawrence Academy upgrades its record to 9-0 on the year. The Warriors host Ridgecroft (Ahoskie, NC) to play the Rams in a bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 0-5. Ridgecroft lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Halifax Academy (Roanoke Rapids, NC)

The Raiders now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Christ Covenant for a non-league bout on Friday, September 15.
