The Madison County Mountaineers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Mountain View Generals to 0 in the Mountaineers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Mountaineers now have a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clarke County for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 19. Madison County will meet a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Strasburg (Strasburg, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-4.

The Generals (0-9) will now prepare for their game against Luray (Luray, VA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league game with a 4-5 record.
