In Thursday's non-league battle, the host McMichael Phoenix volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the T.W. Andrews Red Raiders.
The Phoenix (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against West Stokes (King, NC). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 7-1 record. In their last battle, West Stokes achieved victory over Walkertown (Walkertown, NC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Red Raiders clash with the Thomasville Bulldogs (Thomasville, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 18. T.W. Andrews will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 3-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over South Davidson (Denton, NC).
