The Newark Memorial Cougars volleyball team (Newark, CA), went down 2-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Mission San Jose Warriors (Fremont, CA)

The Warriors (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Notre Dame (Belmont, CA). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, Notre Dame went down by Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars encounter the Moreau Catholic Mariners (Hayward, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, October 3. Newark Memorial will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
