The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the South Paulding Spartans (Douglasville, GA) and the host Woodland Wildcats (Cartersville, GA), saw South Paulding's volleyball squad beat Woodland by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, South Paulding upgrades its record to 10-1 on the year. The Spartans travel to East Paulding (Dallas, GA) to play the Raiders in a bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 1-1. East Paulding lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Newnan (Newnan, GA)

The Wildcats now own a 0-4 record.
