The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Butler County Bears (Morgantown, KY) and the host Russellville Panthers (Russellville, KY), saw Butler County's soccer squad knock off Russellville by a count of 4-2.

The Bears now hold a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Grayson County for a District 11 test on Tuesday, September 19. Butler County will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 7-0 league loss to Meade County (Brandenburg, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 4-10.

With the loss, Russellville drops to 5-10 on the season. The Panthers travel to Foundation Christian Academy (Bowling Green, KY) to meet the Falcons in a non-league test on Monday, September 18. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 3-6. Foundation Christian Academy lost 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Russellville (Russellville, KY)
