The HOPE Academy Royals soccer team scored 9 points and limited the visiting Fletcher Falcons to 1 in the Royals league victory on Thursday.

Next, the Royals face the Carolina Christian Lions (Locust, NC) in a Metro Area Athletic contest, on Monday, September 18. HOPE Academy will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 7-2 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Charlotte Secondary (Charlotte, NC).

The Falcons now have a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host HOPE Academy for a Metro Area Athletic contest on Tuesday, September 26.
