Illinois High School Soccer - Universal knocks off Islamic Foundation

Universal Stars (Bridgeview, IL) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Islamic Foundation Chargers (Villa Park, IL), 10-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Stars face the College Prep of America Thunder (Lombard, IL) in a Metro Prep challenge, on Friday, September 15. Universal will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Thunder enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 5-3 league win over Hinsdale Adventist Academy (Hinsdale, IL).

The Chargers now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Hinsdale Adventist Academy for a Metro Prep challenge on Tuesday, September 19. Islamic Foundation will face a Hurricanes team coming off a 6-2 league loss to College Prep of America (Lombard, IL). The Hurricanes record now stands at 0-3.
