The Tigers now sport a 11-3 record. They play next when they host Calloway County for a District 2 test on Monday, September 18. Murray will meet a Lakers squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to South Warren (Bowling Green, KY). The Lakers record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, Mayfield drops to 2-6 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Marshall County (Benton, KY) to meet the Marshals in a District 2 test on Tuesday, September 19. The Marshals come into the test with a record of 8-8. Marshall County lost 1-0 in their recent non-league test against South Warren (Bowling Green, KY)
