Georgia High School Softball - Appling County loses to Pierce County

The Pierce County Bears softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Appling County Pirates to 1 in the Bears league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Pierce County improves its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA) to encounter the Warriors in a 2A Region 3 outing on Tuesday, September 19. The Warriors enter the outing with a record of 2-10. Tattnall County lost 8-3 in their recent league outing against Brantley County (Nahunta, GA)
The Pirates (8-3) will now prepare for their outing against Colquitt County (Norman Park, GA). The Packers enter the non-league outing with a 11-6 record. In their last outing, Colquitt County prevailed over Camden County (Kingsland, GA), 8-3, in a league outing.
