The Cook Hornets softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Berrien Rebels to 2 in the Hornets league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Cook improves its record to 14-0 on the year. The Hornets travel to Irwin County (Ocilla, GA) to clash with the Indians in a non-league game on Tuesday, September 19. The Indians come into the game with a record of 6-5.

In their next game, the Rebels clash with the Dodge County Indians (Eastman, GA) in a 2A Region 1 game, on Tuesday, September 19. Berrien will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Indians come into the game with a 11-7 record after their 15-0 league win over Fitzgerald (Fitzgerald, GA).
