Oklahoma High School Softball - Caney Valley can't get by Oklahoma Union

In Thursday's non-league contest, the Oklahoma Union Cougars (South Coffeyville, OK) softball team held off the visiting Caney Valley Trojans (Ramona, OK), by a margin of 4-3.
With the triumph, Oklahoma Union moves its record to 6-19 on the year. The Cougars host Hominy (Hominy, OK) to play the Bucks in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 16. The Bucks come into the contest with a record of 15-8.
In their next game, the Trojans play the Sperry Pirates (Sperry, OK) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 18. Caney Valley will attempt to move on its 9-20 season record. The Pirates come into the contest with a 15-14 record after their 5-4 league win over Kansas (Kansas, OK).
