Nebraska High School Softball - Cuming County bounces South Sioux City

September 14, 2023: West Point, NE 68788

The Cuming County Cadets routed the visiting South Sioux City Cardinals softball squad by a count of 13-3 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Cadets (4-14) will now prepare for their battle against Logan View/Scribner-Snyder (Hooper, NE). The go into the non-league battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Logan View/Scribner-Snyder topped Raymond Central (Raymond, NE), 9-7, in a non-league battle.

The Cardinals now sport a 2-16 record. They play next when they travel to Pierce for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 16. South Sioux City will meet a Bluejays squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Aquinas (David City, NE). The Bluejays record now stands at 7-12.
