The Fair Play Hornets softball team (Fair Play, MO), was routed 17-1 in Thursday's league test with the visiting Halfway Cardinals (Halfway, MO)

Coming up next, the Cardinals clash with the Wheatland Mules (Wheatland, MO) in a non-league test, on Monday, September 18. Halfway will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Mules come into the test with a 10-1 record after their 13-5 non-league win over Hermitage (Hermitage, MO).

The Hornets (1-8) will now prepare for their test against Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, MO). The Tigers come into the Class 1 District 3 test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, Walnut Grove overcame Dadeville (Dadeville, MO), 23-2, in a league test.
