The Taylor County Vikings softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Manchester Blue Devils to 1 in the Vikings league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Taylor County moves its record to 11-2 on the year. The Vikings travel to Lamar County (Barnesville, GA) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league game on Monday, September 18. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 14-3. Lamar County won 9-6 in their recent non-league game against Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA)

In their next game, the Blue Devils clash with the Furlow Charter School Falcons (Americus, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 6 game, on Tuesday, September 19. Manchester will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record.
