Miller County Pirates (Colquitt, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Seminole County Indians (Donalsonville, GA), 9-2 in a league challenge.

The Pirates now own a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they host Baconton Charter for a 1A D-II Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, September 19.

With the loss, Seminole County falls to 8-4 on the campaign. The Indians host Calhoun County (Edison, GA) to battle the Cougars in a 1A D-II Region 1 challenge on Monday, September 18. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 1-5.
