The Poteau Pirates softball team scored 2 runs and limited the host Pocola Indians to 1 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Poteau moves its record to 26-5 on the year. The Pirates host Fort Gibson (Fort Gibson, OK) to clash with the Tigers in a 4A District 5 game on Sunday, September 17.
