Schulter Bulldogs (Schulter, OK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Stringtown Tigers (Stringtown, OK), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they host Macomb for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 15. Schulter will battle a Hornets squad coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Paden (Paden, OK). The Hornets record now stands at 12-7.

With the loss, Stringtown falls to 1-4 on the campaign.
