North Carolina High School Volleyball - Starmount overwhelmed by Alleghany

In Thursday's league battle, the host Alleghany Trojans volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Starmount Rams.
The Trojans (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC). The Granite Bears come into the Northwest 1A battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Mount Airy achieved victory over Elkin (Elkin, NC), 3-2, in a league battle.
Next, the Rams clash with the East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC) in a Northwest 1A battle, on Monday, September 18. Starmount will attempt to advance on its 0-11 season record. The Cardinals come into the battle with a 3-9 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC).
