In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting South Pike Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Amite County Trojans.
The Eagles (11-5) will now prepare for their battle against Hazlehurst (Hazlehurst, MS). The Indians come into the Class 3 Region 7 battle with a 2-7 record.
Next, the Trojans encounter the Puckett Wolves (Puckett, MS) in a Class 2 Region 6 battle, on Tuesday, September 26. Amite County will attempt to move on its 1-13 season record.
