The Arroyo Valley Hawks topped the host Bloomington Bruins volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Hawks now have a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jurupa Hills for a Skyline test on Tuesday, September 19. Arroyo Valley will confront a Spartans team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Rialto (Rialto, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 8-7.

The Bruins (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Colton (Colton, CA). The Yellowjackets enter the Skyline test with a 1-8 record. In their last test, Colton was knocked off by Grand Terrace (Grand Terrace, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
