Nebraska High School Volleyball - Loomis edged by Axtell

The Axtell Wildcats held off the visiting Loomis Wolves volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Wildcats now have a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Giltner for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 19. Axtell will confront a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Sandy Creek (Fairfield, NE). The Hornets record now stands at 3-5.

The Wolves (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Franklin (Franklin, NE). The Flyers enter the non-league test with a 1-12 record. In their last test, Franklin was nudged by Deshler (Deshler, NE), 2-0, in a non-league test.
