In Thursday's league battle, the host Bandys Trojans volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the West Caldwell Warriors.
The Trojans (8-8) will now prepare for their battle against Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC). The Bears come into the Catawba Valley Athletic 2A battle with a 1-9 record. In their last battle, Bunker Hill went down by Newton-Conover (Newton, NC), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Warriors encounter the East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC) in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A battle, on Tuesday, September 19. West Caldwell will attempt to move on its 0-12 season record.
