In Thursday's league battle, the host Washington County Commanders volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Bethlehem Eagles/Banshees.
The Commanders (7-9) will now prepare for their battle against Thomas Nelson (Bardstown, KY). The Generals come into the District 19 battle with a 9-8 record.
Next, the Eagles/Banshees encounter the North Bullitt Eagles (Shepherdsville, KY) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, September 20. Bethlehem will attempt to advance on its 3-15 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 7-6 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to North Hardin (Radcliff, KY).
