The Bengals (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL). The Meteors come into the South Suburban battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Thornton Fractional North achieved victory over Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Cardinals clash with the De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 15. Blue Island Eisenhower will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Meteors come into the battle with a 10-0 record after their 2-1 league win over Aurora Central Catholic (Aurora, IL).
