With the loss, Sanford moves to 2-2 on the year. The Spartans travel to Portland (Portland, ME) to battle the Bulldogs in a Class A contest on Tuesday, September 19. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a record of 4-0. Portland won 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Marshwood (South Berwick, ME)
