The East Gaston Warriors volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Burns Bulldogs to 0 in the Warriors league victory on Thursday.

The Warriors now hold a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they host Highland Tech for a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A battle on Tuesday, September 19. East Gaston will encounter a Rams team coming off a 3-0 league win over Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC). The Rams record now stands at 14-0.

Next, the Bulldogs encounter the West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 18. Burns will attempt to advance on its 2-9 season record. The Rebels come into the battle with a 4-7 record after their 3-2 league loss to East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC).
