Kentucky High School Volleyball - Casey County edged by McCreary Central

The McCreary Central Raiders held off the visiting Casey County Rebels volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Raiders now have a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wayne County for a District 48 test on Tuesday, September 19. McCreary Central will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Rockcastle County (Mt. Vernon, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-9.
The Rebels (4-19) will now prepare for their test against Garrard County (Lancaster, KY). The Golden Lions enter the non-league test with a 11-9 record. In their last test, Garrard County held off Estill County (Irvine, KY), 2-0, in a non-league test.
