Alabama High School Volleyball - Cedar Bluff can't hold off Cherokee County

In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Cherokee County Warriors volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Cedar Bluff Tigers.

The Warriors (12-7) will now prepare for their battle against Clay-Chalkville (Pinson, AL). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 4-12 record. In their last battle, Clay-Chalkville nudged Carver Birmingham (Birmingham, AL), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Tigers encounter the Jacksonville Christian Academy Thunder (Jacksonville, AL) in a 1A Area 12 battle, on Monday, September 18. Cedar Bluff will attempt to advance on its 4-8 season record. The Thunder come into the battle with a 4-7 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Collinsville (Collinsville, AL).
