The Channel Islands Raiders volleyball team (Oxnard, CA), was nudged 3-2 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Malibu Sharks (Malibu, CA)

The Sharks (5-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Fillmore (Fillmore, CA). The Flashes enter the Citrus Coast challenge with a 1-9 record. In their last challenge, Fillmore was nudged by Nordhoff (Ojai, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Raiders encounter the Hueneme Vikings (Oxnard, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 19. Channel Islands will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 3-2 league loss to Santa Paula (Santa Paula, CA).
