In Thursday's non-league contest, the Johnson County Longhorns (Mountain City, TN) volleyball squad knocked off the host Chuckey-Doak Black Knights (Afton, TN), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Longhorns battle the Oak Hill Academy Warriors (Mouth of Wilson, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 15. Johnson County will attempt to better on its 8-9 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Holston (Damascus, VA).

With the loss, Chuckey-Doak drops to 1-8 on the campaign. The Black knights host West Greene (Mosheim, TN) to battle the Buffaloes in a non-league contest on Monday, September 18. The Buffaloes come into the contest with a record of 8-2. West Greene won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Hampton (Hampton, TN)
