The Jefferson Democrats topped the visiting Diego Rivera Huskies volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Democrats now have a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Los Angeles for a Exposition test on Monday, September 18. Jefferson will confront a Romans team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Manual Arts (Los Angeles, CA). The Romans record now stands at 3-5.

The Huskies (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Manual Arts (Los Angeles, CA). The Toilers enter the Exposition test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Manual Arts was knocked off by Wilson (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
