North Carolina High School Volleyball - North Wilkes over Forbush

North Wilkes Vikings (Hays, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Vikings clash with the North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC) in a Foothills 2A match, on Tuesday, September 19. North Wilkes will attempt to advance on its 10-1 season record. The Greyhounds come into the match with a 8-4 record after their 3-2 league win over Surry Central (Dobson, NC).

With the loss, Forbush drops to 7-4 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC) to clash with the Eagles in a Foothills 2A match on Tuesday, September 19. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 3-8.
