The Hawthorne Hornets topped the host Hope Christian Academy Lions volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Hornets now have a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wildwood for a non-league test on Monday, September 18. Hawthorne will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Mount Dora (Mount Dora, FL). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-8.
The Lions (0-11) will now prepare for their test against Northside Christian Academy (Starke, FL). The enter the Southeastern Christian West District test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Northside Christian Academy gained a win over Corinth Christian Academy (Jasper, FL), 3-1, in a league test.
