The Blue Waves (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Wesson (Wesson, MS). The Cobras enter the Class 3 Region 7 challenge with a 9-5 record. In their last challenge, Wesson defeated Crystal Springs (Crystal Springs, MS), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Indians encounter the South Pike Eagles (Magnolia, MS) in a Class 4 Region 6 challenge, on Monday, September 18. Hazlehurst will attempt to move on its 2-8 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 11-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Amite County (Liberty, MS).
