The Pickens County Tornadoes volleyball team (Reform, AL), was edged 3-2 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Holy Spirit Catholic Saints (Tuscaloosa, AL)

The Saints (2-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Berry (Berry, AL). The Wildcats come into the 1A Area 9 match with a 0-6 record. In their last match, Berry was edged by South Lamar (Millport, AL), 3-0, in a league match.

With the loss, Pickens County drops to 4-7 on the campaign. The Tornadoes travel to South Lamar (Millport, AL) to clash with the Stallions in a 1A Area 9 match on Monday, September 18. The Stallions come into the match with a record of 10-4. South Lamar won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Sulligent (Sulligent, AL)
