In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Underwood Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the IKM/Manning Wolves.

The Eagles (5-13) will now prepare for their battle against Red Oak (Red Oak, IA). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 8-8 record. In their last battle, Red Oak achieved victory over St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Wolves clash with the Fort Dodge Dodgers (Fort Dodge, IA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 16. IKM/Manning will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Dodgers come into the battle with a 7-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Mason City (Mason City, IA).
