In Thursday's league battle, the host Itawamba Agricultural Indians volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Shannon Red Raiders.
The Indians (9-5) will now prepare for their battle against Red Bay (Red Bay, AL). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 10-11 record. In their last battle, Red Bay achieved victory over Hackleburg (Hackleburg, AL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Red Raiders clash with the Mooreville Troopers (Mooreville, MS) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 16. Shannon will attempt to advance on its 9-6 season record. The Troopers come into the battle with a 3-8 record after their 3-0 league win over Aberdeen (Aberdeen, MS).
