The Leroy Greene Academy Lions topped the host John Adams Academy Patriots volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Lions now have a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westlake Charter for a Northern Pacific Athletic Conference test on Tuesday, September 19. Leroy Greene Academy will confront a Explorers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Union Mine (El Dorado, CA). The Explorers record now stands at 13-7.

The Patriots (3-9) will now prepare for their test against Elite (Vallejo, CA). The Eagles enter the test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Elite was knocked off by Fortune Early College (Sacramento, CA), 3-1, in a league test.
