The Mariners go into the contest with a 9-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Lighthouse Christian (Santa Monica, CA).

With the loss, St. Paul moves to 4-11 on the year. The Swordsmen travel to St. Genevieve (Panorama City, CA) to battle the Valiants in a Camino Real contest on Tuesday, September 19.
