The Purvis Tornadoes prevailed the visiting Lawrence County Cougars volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.
The Tornadoes now have a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Our Lady Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, September 16. Purvis will confront a Crescents team coming off a 3-0 league win over St. Patrick (Biloxi, MS). The Crescents record now stands at 21-3.
The Cougars (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Salem (Tylertown, MS). The Wildcats enter the non-league test with a 12-7 record. In their last test, Salem gained a win over Franklin County (Meadville, MS), 3-0, in a non-league test.
