The Mackay Miners volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Leadore Mustangs to 0 in the Miners league victory on Thursday.
The Miners now have a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sho-Ban for a game on Thursday, September 21. Mackay will meet a Chiefs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to North Gem (Bancroft, ID). The Chiefs record now stands at 0-6.
The Mustangs (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Taylor's Crossing (Idaho Falls, ID). The enter the 1A Rocky Mountain game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Taylor's Crossing dropped by North Gem (Bancroft, ID), 3-2, in a league game.
